The research is devoted to considering theoretical and practical aspects of control after mediator activity in area of customs business. Place and role of the control of customs bodies of mediator activity in area of customs business as kind of external department control of customs service of Ukraine have been determined. Basic features and specificity of such control have been distinguished. Elements of organizational - legal mechanism of the control of the customs bodies of mediator activity in area of customs business (subjects, object, principles, purpose, tasks, functions, methods) have been analyzed in details.
