Dissertation is devoted to comparative research of regulation of copyright on literary and artistic works in European Union and Ukraine. The historical and normative aspects of becoming and development of copyright are in process analyzed on literary and artistic works, international, European and national doctrine going near his determination and regulation. Certainly definition of copyright on literary and artistic works, it's sources, specific of the normative providing, objective-subject and rich in content constituents in European Union, it's members states and in Ukraine. The special attention is turned on the garmonizations aspects of defence of copyright on literary and artistic works in the legislation of Ukraine and European Union.
