The work ascertains essence of personnel policies in organs of State border guard service (SBGS) of Ukraine, specifies notion of personnel of SBGS organs of Ukraine and its separate types, analyses subjects of personnel management in organs of SBGS of Ukraine and defines system of personnel management in organs of SBGS of Ukraine. Characteristic of separate directions of personnel management in organs of SBGS of Ukraine takes a special place in the dissertation. They include professional selection of candidates for service (studying) in SBGS organs of Ukraine; professional preparation of personnel of SBGS organs of Ukraine; evaluation of professional service activity of personnel of SBGS organs of Ukraine etc.
