Korchevska O. The Problem of "Native and Universal" in the Creative Work of Z. A. Schakovskoy.

On the example of the creativity of Z. Schakovskoy the thesis studies the problem of national identity in the Russian ?migr? literature - the key problem of the first wave and one of the central problems in the ?migr? literature studies. The work characterizes the transformation of the concepts "ground" / "groundlessness" in the diaspora, and the differences in their interpretation by the older and younger generations. The position of Z. Schakovskoy is presented as a link between them. The place of Z. Schakovskoy in the literature of the young generation is ascertained and her interpretation of Europeanism is clarified. The thesis studies the writer's ideas on the history of Russian literature and the evolution of her attitude towards Europeanism, nationalist and supranational trends in literature. V. Nabokov is proved to be the prototype of the hero in the short story "The Desert". The French-language novel "Sortie de Secours" (Emergency Exit) is studied as a fact of Russian literature. The image of Russia in the lyrics of Z. Schakovskoy is analyzed.
