Oliinik Z. Scientific substantiation of methodical approaches for a definition of specific activity of disinfectants

The dissertation is devoted to the modern methods for determination of bactericidal, yeasticidal, fungicidal, tuberculocidal, mycobactericidal, sporicidal activity of disinfectants in experimental conditions and its hygienic estimation. Approbation of the European Standards "Chemical Disinfectants and Antiseptics" group EN 14561:2006, EN 14562:2006 and EN 14563:2008 was conducted under conditions of home laboratory. The European methods for determination the disinfectants' specific activity - the quantitative suspension test and quantitative carrier test - were adapted. New methods the simplified suspension test for determination of disinfectants' base activity and quantitative test on surfaces for development of disinfection modes were elaborated. The specific activity of "Blanidas Active", "P3-Topax 91", "P3-cosa DES", "70 % Isopropyl Alcohol", "Domestos - 24 Hours of Protecting from Flying Microbes" and the disinfection regimes for different objects were developed in experimental terms. Modern methodical approaches and criteria for hygienic estimation of disinfectants' specific activity were determined. They could ensure the objective and authentic results and raise the efficiency of disinfection.
