Vintonyak O. The phonological, morphological and lexical semantic system of the Bаnya-Bereziv village Kosiv region dialect.

The thesis focuses on the dialect, representing Hutsul and Pokuttya isogloss on the phonological, morphological and lexical semantic levels, defines the literary language influence on the dialect; especially these changes can be observed among necessity of studying its specific features.The dissertation describes the phonological system of the dialect, characterises vocalism and consonantism traits, determines typical phonemes realization for the mentioned dialects. Not regular phonetic phenomena in the system of vowels and consonants are determined which enable to identify the researched dialect among other south-western dialects.Morphological features of the research dialect are characterized on the basis of the dialect material analysis. Archaisms in the language system are observed, the influence of literary language, common and distinctive traits with other dialects and literary language are revealed.The thesis analyses the wedding ceremony vocabulary, defines its lexical semantic features.
