The dissertation deals with the complex research of the administrative-legal regulation of the activity of public formations in the sphere of public order protection for the prevention of offences. The thesis contains a number of theoretical statements and practical recommendations taking into consideration the peculiarities of functioning of public formations in the protection of public order as the subjects of the prevention of administrative offences and crimes. The administrative-legal status of public formations in the sphere of public order protection for the prevention of offences, principles and procedure of their preventive activity are studied.
