Renn O. Collaborative authorship: the problems of publishing and editing

On the basis of modern empiric material we have done a comprehensive research of the collaborative authorship phenomenon. We have examined the role and functioning of the collaborative authorship on current literary period. We have studied and improved terminology and typology systems of the multiauthor books. We have elucidated organization, psychological, ethical, juridical, and publishing aspects concerning multiauthorship, exposed the peculiarities of publishing collective nonfiction literary production, and proved the necessity of consideration in editor's work the feature of collectivity. We have marked out the major problem aspects of the editor's work with multiauthor book and proposed recommendations for authors and editors.
