Gresko I. Operative treatment of chronic tuberculosis pleurisies

Dissertation is devoted to optimization of diagnosis and surgical treatment of chronic tuberculous pleurisy. During the research the conditions that could develop chronic pleurisy were determined. The author recommends that they appoint the risk factors of chronic pleurisy. He suggests the classification of chronic pleurisy, which contains three stage process. Among them 1-b, 2 and 3 stages are surgical. Pleurectomy technique, which avoids some complications and reduces the amount of blood loss was improved. The less chronic stage process, the smaller amount of blood loss peroperative and the shorter postoperative period. Restoration of respiratory function and respiratory failure as well as the heart function and pressure in a small circle of blood circulation occurs earlier and more fully in the near and remote postoperative periods depending on the stage of chronic pleurisy. On the whole level of health and level of social and occupational rehabilitation of the patient in remote postoperative period had recreated in full, which gave the dissertanty the right to refer pleurectomy to functional restoration surgery.
