Danilova M. Personal Determinants of the Forming of Maternal Attitude of the Woman to the Child during the Antenatal Period.

The dissertation is devoted to the investigation of personal determinants of the forming of maternal attitude of the woman to the child during the period of antenatal development. The work presents an analyses of the scientific and theoretical concepts and approaches to the research of maternal attitude during the period of antenatal development of a child; the analyses of main trends of studying of personal peculiarities and the woman's age during pregnancy. Model of maternal attitude to a child during the period of antenatal development is worked out. Structural components of cognitive, emotional and behavioural components of maternal attitude are singled out. A content criterion for defining of maternal types of attitude is described. Specificity of typological peculiarities of maternal attitude among women of different age groups is investigated. Personal determinants, which provide forming of a certain type of maternal attitude, are identified. Program of the forming of the maternal attitude, considering personal characteristics and future mother's age is worked out and tested.
