Surzhko M. Improvement of the electoral system as factor of political representation development in modern Ukraine.

Dissertation is devoted to research ways to improve the electoral system of Ukraine to ensure effective political representation. The paper discusses the main approaches to the disclosure of the essence of the concept: "electoral system", the phases of the electoral system formation in modern Ukraine are defined; the different types of the electoral systems are analyzed in the context of political representation efficiency. The modern election system of Ukraine in the aspect of the formation of political representation is refuted; effective mechanisms to increase liability of deputies are submitted; a theoretical search for a model of electoral system that would ensure a more effective political representation is performed.
