Essence, maintenance and structure of forming of designer abilities for the students of agrotechnical specialities facilities of descriptive geometry and engineering graphic arts, is exposed. Certainly and scientifically grounded pedagogical terms of forming of designer abilities of students; classification is offered, the complex of criteria and certainly levels of formed of designer abilities is specified for future engineers-squirearchies; it is developed and the effective method of forming of designer abilities is experimentally approved.
