The dissertation is devoted to methodical maintenance of use of national musical traditions during training subjects of an art - aesthetic cycle. The criteria and performance levels of artistic and aesthetic competence adolescents. Developed and tested for every stage of the use of national musical traditions in the teaching of artistic and aesthetic cycle. The obtained results prove the effectiveness of the proposed research methodology and its importance for the further improvement of the theory and practice of art education.
