Aleksandrov O. The improvement of the differential diagnostic for the benign tumors and tumor-like formations of the ovaries

The thesis is devoted to the studying of diagnostic value of ultrasonography and dopplerometry, complex immunological investigation with a group of cell differentiation markers (CD-receptors) and detection of CD-receptors inside ovarian neoplasms in order to improve the differential diagnostic for the benign tumors and tumor-like formations of the ovaries and treatment results of this pathology. Blood of patients who had benign ovarian tumors showed lower levels of CD-markers and phagocytic cells with specific features for each type of tumor than it was for those who had tumor-like ovarian formations. Intensity of intratumoral penetration by CD-markers correlates with the level of CD-markers in patient blood. The use of the worked out algorithm of the differential diagnostic for benign tumors and tumor-like formations of ovaries will give possibility to choose the most suitable treatment method.
