Starchevska T. Clinical and pathogenetic grounds benefiting the use of the ozone baths in the complex sanatorium-and-spa treatment of sick people suffering from essential arterial hypertension of the I and II degrees

The thesis is devoted to efficiency increase of sanatorium-and-spa treatment of sick people suffering from essential arterial hypertension of the I and II degrees by means of the ozone baths taking into account clinical and pathogenetic peculiarities of the illness course. The methods aimed at using the ozone baths were elaborated. Under the influence of the complex sanatorium-and-spa treatment of sick people suffering from essential arterial hypertension characterized by a low or moderate cardiovascular risk degree due to the use of the ozone baths the general clinical state of the sick people as well as the central hemodynamic indices were improved; physical capacity for work and life quality were improved. The sick people with high and very high degree of cardiovascular risk treated by means of the ozone baths and laser therapy are characterized by positive dynamics of general clinical state; normalization of anthropometric indices, blood coagulation peculiarities; improvement of central hemodynamic; correcting influence of the elaborated complexes on the regulation of the day's arterial pressure profile, endothelial dysfunction; abdominal obesity growth of physical capacity for work.
