Essay

The dissertation contains new approaches to diagnostics and treatment of giant abdominal wall defects in patients with heart and pulmonary failure with the consideration of intra-abdominal hypertension risk factors, intra-abdominal pressure monitoring and the analysis of correlation the individual threshold values of adaptation, created during the preoperative preparation. It is indentified the expediency of adaptive preoperative preparation method and the benefits of preoperative progressive pneumoperitoneum methods in patients with cardiac and pulmonary failure. We have developed and unified the indications for the methods of preoperative progressive pneumoperitoneum, algorithm for differential selection of adaptive preoperative preparation method and staging selection of closure techniques of giant abdominal wall defects in patients with cardiac and pulmonary failure
