Dissertation is sanctified to the problem of studying the level of development of intellectual and cognitive systems for the children of preschool and junior school age and forming of creative thought in a transitional period from preschool to the junior school. The theoretical analysis of research problem, on the basis of which the main approaches is distinguished near the analysis of problem of creative thinking on the whole and features of its development in preschool and junior school age is in-process given. It was found out, that system-formative property of creative thought is flexible. The main going is presented near the analysis of problem of crisis 6-7 years in psychological and pedagogical literature. The results of empirical research enable to draw conclusion about the negative dynamics of development of intellectual and cognitive systems in the a transitional period from preschool to the junior school the whole and indexes of creative thinking in particular. Description of the worked out program of forming the creative thought is given in a transitional period from preschool to the junior school, which includes the row of training employments the aim of which is development of main indexes of creative thought by the increase of indexes of flexibility. The conducted control measuring of main indexes of creative thinking and of intellectual and cognitive systems testifies to the presence of meaningful differences between the indexes of children of experimental group to and after research, and also between the indexes of children of experimental and control groups.
