The investigation object: Pathogenesis inflammation. The investigation goal: The role of opioid peptides in the immune system reactions during inflammation. Methods of research: pathophysiological, morphological (histological, morphometric), immunohistochemical, pharmacological, statistical investigative techniques were used. Theoretical and practical significance of the obtained results. Obtained results about role of opioid peptides in pathogenesis of inflammation, commonly, about their influence on immune system widens and deepens the existing knowledge about the mechanism of this process that will promote improvement of pathogenic anti-inflammatory therapy. Scientific novelty of the obtained results: Firstly, special complex investigations on initial definite role of endogenous opioid peptides in reaction of immune system during inflammation were carried out. It was shown that, opioid peptide represents anti-inflammatory modulators of immune responses during acute inflammation and exerts its effect on immune system and their receptor mechanisms. The degree of implementation: Kharkov National Medical University, Crimean Sate Medical University of S. I. Georgievsky, Lugansk State Medical University, State University of Sumi.
