In the dissertation the complex analysis of concept and the maintenance of an exclusive right to use of geographical indications is made, a procedure and protection of this right agrees legislations of Ukraine and international legal norms. Definition and signs of geographical indications is made. The analysis of occurrence and the maintenance of an exclusive right to geographical indications is carried out. Problems of protection of an exclusive right on geographical indications are investigated. The concept and kinds of infringement of rights on geographical indications is analysed.
