Essay

On the basis of clinical and instrumental examination of 150 patients with disorder of deglutition function in acute period of cerebral stroke. Usage of clinical scale of assessment of deglutition function and developement of treatment algorithm of patients with neurogenic oropharingeal dysphagia in acute period of cerebral stroke allows to hasten significantly the restoration of deglutition function, to reduce the risk of development of respiratory complications and the level of early death rate due to aspiration pneumonia, to improve the general prognosis of the patient's recovery and survival.
