Sergeуeva O. National language policy in Ukraine: the European context

Object of research: national language policy in the countries-members of European Union and in Ukraine. Purpose: generalization of theoretical approaches to perfection of language policy in Ukraine and its realization taking into account experience of countries-members of European Union at national and regional levels. Methods: dialectical; system; formal-legal; comparatively-legal. Results: theoretical approaches to adaptation of European experience of decision of language questions in Ukrainian society are developed. Novelty: status of additional language is grounded; systematized and improved approaches to claim of Ukrainian at state and regional levels as to the institute of the state system and means of international intercourse. It is inculcated in activity of authorities the Kharkiv region. Areas of use: public administration, local self-government, training and retraining of civil servants and public servants of local self-government.
