Object - the Ukrainian prose of Marko Vovchok (collection "Folk tale", story "Magic", "Ledaschytsya", "Two children", "Not for couples"); aim - lies in a comprehensive analysis of features of mentality and psychology of characters, characters-narrator and author, as well as specific methods of image copyright Marko Vovchok; methods - analysis, component and aspect analysis, monitoring; novelty - first an attempt to formulate a system-conceptual scheme of psychological and psychoanalytic interpretation of literature and developed an original method, first under the concept named made psychological and psychoanalytic interpretation of Ukrainian prose of Marko Vovchok, first identified and characterized the system of psychoanalytic and psychological characteristics (self -, interaction and inocharacteristics) of characters, and elements of psychoanalysis, selfpsychoanalysis in separate stories, specified the contents of the basic terminology; results - can be used for planning and teaching lectures on the history of Ukrainian literature of the XIX century, at the conclusion of work programs, while writing books and manuals on the history of Ukrainian literature, to plan lessons and content of special courses, special seminars or electives with work of Marko Vovchok, while writing master's works, with further study of the literary legacy of Marko Vovchok; brunch - philology
