Tyshchenko Y. The Constitutional and Legal Regulation of the Consumers' Rights in Ukraine

The thesis presents the first in the national law science systemic analysis of the constitutional legal regulation of consumers' rights in Ukraine. The author analyses the concepts of "consumer", "consumers' rights", "constitutional legal regulation of consumers' rights" and proposes their determination. The public relations in the field of consumers' rights protection as an object of the constitutional legal regulation have been analyzed and their classification has been carried out. The place of consumers' rights within the system of human and citizen rights is determined. The issues of the constitutional legal regulation of public policy in relation to respect for consumers' rights have been considered and its determination has been formulated. The sources of the constitutional legal regulation of consumers' rights as well as constitutional foundation of respect for consumers' rights have been analysed. The experience of other European states in relation to the constitutional regulation of the consumers' rights has been analysed. The system and the competence of state organs responsible consumers' rights protection in Ukraine have been determined. The constitutional legal regulation of the public consumers' organizations activity is researched in the thesis. The concrete proposals concerning improvement of the constitutional legal regulation of the consumers' rights in Ukraine have been formulated
