Mutsko V. Administrative and legal regulation of road traffic security in Ukraine

The dissertation deals with administrative and legal regulation as an effective measure to improve road safety in Ukraine. The process of forming of administrative and legal regulation of traffic safety in our country has been considered. The road safety has been characterized as a component of the national security of Ukraine. The foreign experience in this field has also been examined. The author determines the definition of administrative and legal regulation of traffic safety and also the goal, objectives, principles and functions of such regulation. The list of authorized bodies which carry out administrative and legal regulation in this area has been considered. Emphasized on the necessity of their legal status improvement. The author has determined further ways of improving of special legislation by the relevant list of changes and additions to the existing regulatory framework
