Maslova Y. Gender discourse of modern Ukrainian written mass media means

The dissertation includes the definition of a concept 'gender discourse'. It introduces a complex analyses of all content-composition structure elements of Ukrainian written mass media means in order to reveal gender relevant language forms and contents. Moreover, the comparative analyses of the linguistic means of masculine and feminine construction in mass media texts is given in the dissertation. The issue of evolution and dynamics of gender system of terms is examined as well as its communicative potential is defined. The influence of gender factor on the vocabulary of modern Ukrainian language is researched and the main directions of its active realization are specified.
