Pshuk Y. Coping-behavior of men with alcohol dependence (especially formation, psychotherapeutic correction)

Based on the systems research approach 114 patients with Alcohol dependence and 55 healthy men, identified the causes and mechanisms of coping-behavior of men with Alcohol dependence. Established clinical, psychological and socio-psychological predictors of coping behavior, in patients with Alcohol dependence. The features of communicative coping resources (empathy, affiliation, sensitivity to ignorance), basic coping strategies (problem solving, the ability to perception of social support, avoidance) and peculiarities of social support in patients with Alcohol dependence. Priority psychological constructs of relatively unconstructive and constructive coping-behavior of men with Alcohol dependence. Among the latter is dominated by "actively avoiding" (39,4%), and "retreat" (16,6%) in the field of behavior, "dyssimulation (27,1%) and "ignore" (18,4%) in the cognitive area, "suppression of emotions" (43,2%) and "aggressiveness" in the emotional area. Based on established patterns of behavior-coping in patients with Alcohol dependence scientifically proved, developed and implemented a program of psychotherapeutic correction that is focused on overcoming stressful situations without the use of psychotropic effects of alcohol and a healthy lifestyle.
