Essay

In the thesis was represented the new decision of the scientific problem - the determination of the acute generalized inflammation significance in the development of meta-bolic component of atherogenesis and its main components and the possibilities of inflammatory treatment in preention and regression of these disturbances. The investigation was performed both in clinic on children with acute infectious disease of respiratory sys-tem and in experiment on rabbits with induced acute inflammation. It was shown that the development of acute inflammation and accompanying oxidative stress induced the pro-nounced metabolic disturbances, dyslipidemia, decrease of insulin sensitivity, and as a result - atherogenic and immunogenic modification of blood lipoproteins, which are considered as the main lipid factor of atherogenesis. The significant connection between inflammation and proatherogenic metabolic disturbances was confirmed both coincidence between dynamics of their development and presence of direct correlative links between indexes of these processes and the possibility of antiinflammatory treatment to prevent and even induce the regression of developed proatherogenic disturbances.
