It was first used a comprehensive analysis the literary epistolary of Panas Myrny heritage to highlight the nature and features of ideological and aesthetic views of the writer in the context of day. The work is based on attracting the scientific use of letters of the writer, some of them so far not published anywhere. This makes it possible to identify problem-themed dominant of Panas Myrny epistle. Particular attention was given to coverage of the functioning epistolary literature and critical Panas Myrny evaluations of the literary process in certain period. It was analysed the creative personality of the writer as the author of epistolary texts and proposed the classification of genre and stylistic variety of his letters.
