Artyuhova V. Specifics of therapeutic alliance formation at a neuropsychiatric medical institution

The thesis is devoted to the study of the phenomena of the therapeutic alliance (TA) as a complex dynamic system of relations and interactions between the doctor and the patient, which is formed, develops and functions in the process of therapy and affects the effectiveness of remedial and rehabilitation measures. The typology of the therapeutic alliance (of partnership, emphatically restrictive, neutrally restrictive, emphatically formal, formally distant types) are developed and the relevant criteria of its diagnostics. It determines social and demographic, clinical and psychological factors of therapeutic alliance formation based on the comprehensive psychodiagnostic research of 110 patients with neuropsychiatric disorders and survey among 39 doctors. The systems of psychological correction aimed at the optimization of the therapeutic alliance in patients are offered. The thesis evaluates the validity of the developed program, which proved its effectiveness.
