Essay

Object: mucous coat of colon of rat. Objective: to investigate possible protective effect of multiprobiotics "Simbiter® acidophilic" concentrated, "Simbiter® forte", "Аpibact®" and butyric acid on colonic mucous coat of rat under hypoacidity, caused by "Оmez®" administration. Methods: We used methods of histopathology (Bemer's hematoxylin and eosin staining) and histochemistry (visualization of lectin receptors with different carbohydrate specificity in 3,3-diaminobenzidin-tetrahydrochloride-Н2О2 system). We performed morphometric analysis of karyo- and cytometric characteristics of epitheliocytes using light microscopy and software UTHSCSA ImageJ. We used microbiological methods to characterize the condition of microbiocenose (inoculation of 1 ml sample of feces diluted 10 times into seective and differential media). Results: We showed development of hyperplastic foci in micous coat of upper part of colonic crypts, changes of morphometric characteristics and deficiency of normal representatives of microbiocenose during "Оmez®" administration. Administration of multiprobiotic "Simbiter® acidophilic" was shown to prevent the development of hyperplastic alterations and favoures the recovery of normal microbiocenose. Administration of multiprobiotic "Apibact®" was shown to prevent the development of hyperplastic alterations to a lesser extent than administration of "Simbiter® acidophilic". The most efficient was "Simbiter® forte", it prevents the development of any alterations, and the least efficient was butyric acid. Under hypergastrinemia we detected alterations in distribution of receptors to lectins НРА, РNA, WGA and LABA Under the administration of "Simbiter® acidophilic" and "Apibact®" distribution of receptors to these lectins approximated to normal condition. Introduced into teaching practice of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Area of application: physiology, histology, gastroenterology.
