In this dissertation research and theoretical and practical aspects of the legal status of the contract deposit (deposit) the prospects for their improvement and legal regulation in this area. In this paper the features of regulatory contract deposit (deposit) in independent Ukrainian state. There is a definition of the contract deposit (deposit), justified its characteristics and features. Subject is accentuated attention to issues such as contract deposit (deposit) with other related agreements, deals with the problems of classification of the contract deposit (deposit) into separate species. Questions about the concept, characteristics and peculiarities of the legal status of parties to the contract of deposit (deposit).
