The dissertation is dedicated to the studying of the problem of psychological characteristics of the formation of the professional qualities of future designers-technologists of garments. The psychological difficulties which influence this process at the studying are determined. The psychological characteristics which help the teachers to form the professional qualities of future specialists effectively are defined. The dynamics of these qualities formation in the studying process are revealed. The theoretical model of the formation of the professional qualities of the future specialists is developed and experimentally tested. On the basis of this model the practical recommendations on the intensification of these qualities formation process for scientific and pedagogical staff of the higher educational establishments are defined.
