Baranova I. Lesya Ukrainka's drama-dialogue and dialogical tradition in European literature.

The object is Lesya Ukrainka's dramatic heritage. The aim is to determine the artistic peculiarities of Lesya Ukrainka's drama-dialogue compared with European dialogical tradition. The methods are historical-literary, comparative genology, typology and intertextuality, formal, structural and functional. Thesis is devoted to Lesya Ukrainka's drama-dialogue in the context of European dramatic tradition. In the research has been studied the origin and functioning of the dialogue in philosophical and literary concepts from antiquity to modernism by means of scientific analysis and systematization, and it was found the value of the dialogical nature of language as a communicative tool in the context of dramatic dialogue. Based on studies of Lesya Ukrainka's reception of European literary tradition the forms of literary interaction have been identified: translation activities, literary-critical essays and artistic creativity. Due to the synthesis of the philosophical tradition of dialogue, the concepts of "Drama of Ideas" and "Drama for Reading" in Lesya Ukrainka's dramas, poetess' works are defined as "Drama-Dialogue". Application spheres are the training courses.
