Essay

In the 85-295 К temperature range the optical-luminescent characteristics of CdBr2, CdBr2:Ag,Cl, CdBr2:Ag,Cl,I and CdBr2:Cu,Pb,Cl crystals have been investigated. For the first time it was detected the electret state formation in case of CdI2, CdI2:Au, CdI2:Ag and CdI2:Cu crystals cooling in temperature gradient field and at the room temperature during irradiation by light from photosensitive region. The mechanisms of photochromic efect and the models of lighting and capturing centers in photosensitive materials on CdBr2 and CdI2 base are suggested. It was received the new CdBr2:Ag,Pb,Cl and CdBr2:Ag,Mn,Cl photochromic materials and the new type of photovoltaic detector on CdI2 base.
