The objects are drama and prose by V. Vynnychenko. The aim is to show the complexity and many aspect of formation the concept of the "new person" by V. Vynnychenko's, it artistic expression in the writer's work, to determine to idia contents by images of the character "honesty with oneself" and philosophy "concordism". The methods are typological, biographical, whole-system analysis, the elements of psychoanalysis, anthropologism, gender method.The thesis presents the analysis of the author's concept of a "new person" in V. Vynnychenko's dramas, novels as well as his philosophy treatise "Concordism". The writer's diary, journalistic works and correspondence have also been used. Close attention has been given to such aspects of a concept of a person as the aesthetic ideal, the writer's perception of the biological, social and spiritual elements of an individual as well as the approach to the depiction of characters. The peculiarities of the author's philosophic outlook and the ideas he adhered to are revealed through comparison with the views of the European philosophers. The work also studies the genesis of a fiction character as a representative of "honesty with oneself" and his evolution to the type of a concordist person; the characteristic features of V. Vynnychenko's theoretical foundation of the new code of a person's life in the philosophic-sociological treatise "Concordism" have been explored. Application spheres are the training courses.
