Essay

Dissertation is devoted to the study of peculiarities of the inflammatory response in ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke in the dynamics of the acute illness, and their relationship with the severity of neurological disorders, current, fatal consequences. The study was conducted in 53 patients with ischemic and 49 patients with hemorrhagic stroke on the 1-st, 10-th, 21-th day of the acute period of illness. It has been shown that the development of the inflammatory response plays an important role in the pathogenesis of brain damage in stroke and related to the pathogenetic features of variant stroke. Proved that the severity of neurological disorders, course and consequences of stroke depend on the development of inflammatory reaction. Investigated, in the absence of positive dynamics in the neurological status and adverse outcomes have occurred imbalance in the inflammatory cascade with hyperproduction of proinflammatory mediators and inadequate production of anti-inflammatory. Markers of inflammation, which are informative for the assessment of neurological status and the severity of clinical course in the peripheral blood on the first day of stroke, was identified.
