Kovrigina L. Historical romance by Zinaida Tulub. Genesis of a genre

The dissertation deals with genre characteristic investigation of the historical novel "Men catchers" and historical-biographical novel "limitless steppe behind Ural". It was studied main development tendencies of the Ukrainian literature in whole and historical romance particularly in 20-30th years of XX-century. It was made analysis of fiction features of the authors works using historical-literature, comparison-historical, functional, composite-systemic, philological, hermeneutical methods of researching. Because of them it was known the main genre-typological features of historical novelistic by Zinaida Tulub and her innovation and place in Ukrainian literature in the first half of XX-century.
