The dissertation is devoted to the problem of development of objective evidence-based criteria using modern optical and physical methods of investigation for determination of the period of death coming and differentiation of the causes of death from mechanical asphyxia and plentiful blood loss. It is proved that effectiveness of determination of the prescription of death coming at mechanical asphyxia and plentiful blood loss is: for statistical moments of 1-4 degree for phase distribution - from 1 to 40 hours respectively; for statistical moments of 1-4 degree for degree of polarization distribution - from 1 to 72 hours respectively. Time dynamics of changes of medium and dispersion of laser radiation depolarization degree and phase shift distribution of laser pictures of biological tissues shows statistical authenticity of difference at death reason establishment from 1 to 30 hours at mechanical asphyxia and from 1 to 48 hours at plentiful blood loss; time dynamics of changes asymmetry and excess of laser radiation depolarization degree and phase shift distribution of laser pictures reveals significant differences of death reasons from 1 to 48 and from 1 to 72 hours respectively. Comparing figures of asymmetry and excess of phase distribution of laser pictures of biological tissues from people who died from mechanical asphyxia and blood loss with incidences of ischemic heart disease (control) statistically significant differences were determined. Comparing figures of dispersion, asymmetry and excess of polarization distribution of laser pictures of biological tissues from people who died from mechanical asphyxia and blood loss with incidences of ischemic heart disease (control) statistically significant differences were found out. Comparing figures of medium distribution of depolarization degree of laser radiation determined no significant differences between incidences of mechanical asphyxia and plentiful blood loss.
