Essay

The colloidal structure of complex overbased calcium alkylsalicylate - dispersed phase of the grease was researched; the formulation and technology for making alkylsalicylate multifunctional grease were designed and its physico-chemical, rheological, tribological and other properties were fully studied. Internal structure of micelles and supermicellar formations of the dispersed phase of greases, their external form and spatial orientation were determined with the methods of potentiometric titration, IR-spectroscopy, electron microscopy and x-ray spectrography.
