The object of research is personality orientation of the student. The work purpose is to reveal psychological features of orientation of the students focused on vertical career. The methods: analysis, comparison, generalization, ordering; empirical methods; methods of mathematical statistics. The scientific novelty: influence of features of personality orientation of the students, such, as internality, motivation and purposefulness on a career way for the first time is established; structure of personality orientation peculiar to the students focused on administrative career, and ways of achievement by them of the career purposes for the first time is described; the representations about the psychological contents of research of career are extended. The practical value of research consists in development of the practical recommendations for professors-teaching structure of high schools for introduction of the program of individual planning of career of the students; the materials of research are the basis for creation of educational and training programs by the purpose of formation at the students of effective strategy of construction of career, which will take into account features of personality orientation.
