Essay

Purpose of research is to explore the typical modes of motion and identify the behavior of a system consisting of a reservoir of ellipsoidal shape and a liquid which partially fills it, especially to investigate the origin of circular wave , and particularly the development of joint motion and fluid reservoir. Modeling is based on the application of analytical methods of nonlinear mechanics and variational methods. For the conditions of solvability and construction of coordinate functions, the method of the auxiliary domain was used. Nonlinear discrete system model is obtained by applying the variational principle of Hamilton-Ostrogradskii and modal decomposition method.
