Essay

The thesis presents a study of regional features of modern election campaigns in Ukraine on the example of Ukraine’s western regions. Methodological basis of the thesis is the main theoretical approaches to the analysis of campaign and electoral behavior, which developed in political science. Empiric basis is formed by the election results, statistical data, the census in 2001, the results of the leading scientific centres of Ukraine and regional scientific institutions that study the electoral process.
