Essay

The present thesis is an examination of the anthropocultural nature of freedom. It has been revealed that in the light of phenomenological analysis, freedom manifests itself both as a phenomenon of conscience and as objective reality of human being. A necessity is substantiated to discriminate between notions of Meaning and Sense, the former being the component of Grand Sense related to ideas and concepts and the latter being one related to values and feelings. The phenomenon of freedom is proven to be a purpose driven realization of the grand sense whilst its character in terms of creation of the grand sense is defined as the response assumed in the face of the Other.
