Kozytska I. The Individual Potential for Overcoming Antinomic Mental States.

The dissertation presents the study of peculiarities as to disclosing the individual potential for actualising human mental states reflective of the antinomic situations which necessitate the choice between the two alternatives, the latter being mutually exclusive in time. The research provides the systemic analysis of antinomy from philosophical and psychological perspectives. Also, the paper studies the psychological analogues of the antinomic theory. The thesis gives theoretical and methodological substantiations, the empiric method for the unfolded representation of psychological peculiarities as to overcoming antinomic mental states having been developed. The research empirically establishes individual types of overcoming antinomic mental states, as well as the individual psychological features of their actualisation, and creates an integral typology of the individual potential for overcoming these states.
