Shatilova N. Sydir Vorobkevych's idiostyle

In the thesis, for the first time in the Ukrainian linguistics, S. Vorobkevych's original style becomes an object of a complex analysis in relevance to the writer's worldview. For the first time, with the broad assortment of facts, the writer's language dominants are defined on lexical, phraseological and grammatical levels. The study is performed in the context of the modern criteria by which category of idiostyle is defined, namely, individual and regional features of S. Vorobkevych's idiostyle, against the background of the national ones, are found out; the dictionary of the dialecticisms in the Bucovynean writer's works is compiled. For the first time the author's contribution to the development of the national literary language is evaluated in relation to the making of the new literary language in Bucovyna of the second half of the 1800s.
