The author carries out a historical analysis of the legal regulation of the personal security, analyzes and systematizes the main theoretical approaches to understanding the concept of "security" as a general scientific category, and "personal security" as a specific one, defines concept and reveals the contents of the human right to personal security through its legal nature, submits the author's concept of the constitutional guarantees of human rights to personal security.
