This thesis deals with the investigation of the youth lexicon's emotiveness in the modern German language on the basis of the lexicographic sources and fiction of contemporary German writers. This research paper focuses on the problem of the emotiveness, expressivity and emotional-evaluative relations based on modern youth version of the German language. The ways of the youth lexicon's formation in the German language, the lexical means of emotiveness are defined and analyzed. Ideographic description of emotive vocabulary of contemporary German youth lexicon and the classification of the youth emotive units according to their functions in the fiction is worked out. The emotive vocabulary of youth lexicon realizes the following expressive functions: characterizing (descriptive), estimated, nominative, nominative-estimated, nominative-characterizing, estimated-characterizing and pragmatic functions: regulative, demonstrative, demonstrative-characterizing, demonstrative-regulative, demonstrative-estimated. The frequency of the youth lexicon's emotiveness usage of the German language and speech is defined.
