Babanina T. Left ventricular remodelling prevention in patients suffered from Q-wave myocardial infarction by blocking of renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system

The object of the research changes left ventricle structure and functional disorders in patients having Q-wave myocardial infarction by blocking of renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system. The study aim is improve approaches to the selection of drugs that block the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system in patients having Q-wave myocardial infarction by studying the features of postinfarction left ventricular remodeling and evaluation of the state marker of myocardial collagen matrix - matrix metalloproteinase 2. Methods - clinical, biochemical, instrumental, statistical. The novelty a relation of postinfarction left ventricular remodeling with the plasma levels of the marker states collagen matrix of myocardium and demonstrated the possibility of reducing the risk of left ventricular remodeling using lipophilic inhibitors angiotensin-converting enzyme, especially in patients with high levels of matrix metalloproteinase 2 in the acute phase of myocardial infarction. The observed data were introduced into practice of the Donetsk municipal clinical hospitals № 1 and № 20 (Donetsk), "Clinical miner hospital" Makeyevka, "Municipal hospital named Lenin" Slavyansk and Central region hospital Selidovo (Donetsk region).
