Dissertation covers the problem of improving the quality of diagnostics and treatment efficacy of chronic biliary pancreatitis in patients with obesity. According to survey of 128 patients peculiarities of clinical manifestations of combined diseases are revealed, functional state of the pancreas, its sonographic changes, and the functional state of liver are analyzed, blood lipid profile, index of background fatty dystrophy (index F) are developed using ultrasound histography data, body mass index and biochemical parameters. It is proved that for patients with combined pathology intense abdominal pain and apparent dyspeptic phenomenon are characteristic. According to the faecal elastase test secretory function of pancreas in outward appearance is preserved in most cases. "Deviation" of pancreatic enzymes to blood and difficulty of outflow of pancreatic secretion to the duodenum, lower index F are typical. Patients have atherogenous blood lipid profile, concomitant nonalcoholic steatohepatitis.
