Ryabinina O. Technological ways of raising, keeping and fattening of waterfowl.

It has been worked out the technological ways of raising, keeping and fattening of geese and Muscovy ducks both in specialized economies and in personal and farm ones for obtaining production of enlarge choice and functional purpose. The original construction of the multi-purpose cage battery for breeding and keeping of animals (the patent of Ukraine for the invention №84224) has been suggested. It has been determined that the use of feed mixture made of steamed maize flour with admixtures and the elaborated machine for its supply in the bird's alimentary tract gives the possibility to make shorter the term of forced feeding of birds (in 1,4-1,6 times), to decrease the time of the contact "a man -a machine - a bird" and "a machine - a bird", to simplify the process of preparation of feed mixture. The introduction of such antioxidants as vitamins A, E and selenium in feeds for birds not only enriches the production by these components but also gives the possibility to increase the productivity of birds. The application of the worked out technology gives the possibility to obtain the economical effect 84,0 and 39,7 ths. grn. per 1000 heads when feeding gos-lings and adult geese.
